After eight dirty torpedos of snotty punk rock and roll, the four Swedes of the Apocalypse come up
with their new plague.
THE LAST GOODBYE is their 9th album, due to hit the streets on August 13, 2010. Long time friend and producing legend Pelle Saether laid his hands on the production, which was done at Studio
Underground in Västerås, with Henrik Jonsson in charge of the mastering at Masters of Audio in
Stockholm. Timo Wuerz' artwork leaves no doubt what the record inside the sleeve is all about and
once again they deliver the goods. Sweden-style Rock'n'roll. Dirty. Fast. Emotional. Catchy. Beer
compatible.
It got what it takes to take what you got. 14 bullets aimed at normality. Emerging from legendary label
White Jazz Records, the band has moved over to SiLVERDUST records. During recent years and
releases you can hear that the band have developed their music and style. The faster the better was the
credo the band lived by in the beginning. Meanwhile they have discovered the power of moods.
Therefore also less aggressive tunes can be heard, which are of no less intensity and impact. Just the
message is easier to see. In the end it's just a wider musical variety. And it suits them well.
And also on stage they have gone through some changes, with two new members in their line-up. A
different way of energy and virtuosity is what you can feel when watching them play live.
Another extended tour is being booked for autumn this year. So take the chance and get a ticket. Then
you will see what this Swedish flagship is living for and by.
Let's hope THE LAST GOODBYE is not a farewell for ever!
